Dehydration
Definition: When the body loses more fluid than it takes in; causes thirst, dry mouth, and fewer wet diapers or urination.
Parent Tip: Encourage fluids; for infants, continue breastmilk/formula; seek care if no tears or very sleepy.
Why It Matters: Knowing what to watch for and how to respond helps you act calmly and confidently when your child needs you.
