• Large First Aid Kit: our most complete kit, popular with schools and organizations. Adds bleeding control supplies (a windlass-style tourniquet and kaolin hemostatic gauze), a flexible splint, wound closure strips, a digital thermometer, and separate adult and child/infant CPR masks.

Our kits are designed for families with children of all ages, from babies to teens, and include supplies that work for adults too. Always follow the directions and age guidance printed on each individual item.

The standard Large First Aid Kit includes a windlass-style tourniquet. When you order on our website, you can upgrade to a genuine CAT tourniquet from North American Rescue.

Yes. Kits purchased on thelifesafetypro.com are HSA/FSA eligible.

Yes. We've flown with our kits in a carry-on bag. TSA allows scissors with blades under 4 inches from the pivot point in carry-on bags, and the trauma shears in our Medium and Large kits meet that rule. Creams and gels come in small single-use packets. TSA officers make the final decision at the checkpoint.

No. Our kits don't include medication. The Medium and Large kits have a dedicated space to carry your child's own emergency medication, like an epinephrine auto-injector.

Some items, like creams, gels, and sterile pads, have an expiration date printed on them. Check your kit every 6 months or after each use, and replace anything that is expired, used, or damaged.

Our First Aid Kit Refill has enough supplies to restock two Medium First Aid Kits. Compare the refill contents with what your kit needs.

Yes. Every kit includes our printed Children's First Aid Guide, written by a paramedic in a simple "What you see, What to do" format so you know what to do in the moment.

We ship to all 50 US states. We don't ship internationally at this time.

Yes. You have 30 days after delivery to request a return, and return shipping is free. Kits must be unused and in the original packaging. Yes. We teach CPR, AED, and first aid, including pediatric first aid, for groups and organizations in the Pittsburgh area. Classes are available in person or blended (online learning plus a hands-on skills session). Students receive an HSI or American Heart Association certification card.

Yes. We come to your location. Group classes need at least 5 people for in-person training or 3 for blended. Request a training quote.

Yes. Our instructor is PQAS-certified for Pennsylvania DHS-regulated childcare programs, and we regularly train childcare center staff.

Yes. We offer in-home CPR and first aid classes for parents, grandparents, and caregivers. Request a training quote.
