A Note From Jeremy — Paramedic Tips for Using LifeVac Effectively

As a paramedic I want every customer to get the most out of this device. Two things I always tell people:

1. Practice the seal before you need it. The day your LifeVac arrives, take out the practice mask and spend 30 seconds practicing on a flat surface. The mask uses the same design 
as a BVM used by paramedics — getting a proper seal over the mouth and nose with no gaps takes a little practice. Do it now, not during an emergency.

2. The pull is what saves the life. The push down primes the device. The pull up creates the suction that removes the obstruction. When you use LifeVac, make that upward pull 
firm and decisive. That is where the lifesaving suction comes from.
